Axiom Verge Coming To Wii U This Year

Axiom Verge
Metroid-inspired retro side-scroller Axiom Verge is coming to the Wii U eShop later this year, courtesy of Blitworks.
The game was previously released on PS4 and Steam. For those that don’t know, Axiom Verge is a Metroid inspired side-scrolling action game in a retro 16-bit style, it has nearly a thousand rooms to explore, more than 40 weapons, over 80 different types of enemies, and nearly 100 weapon upgrades. Creator Tom Happ had previously suggested the game could come to Wii U, though he said the 3DS was unlikely due to hardware differences and power.

He's been playing video games his entire life, and has gotten progressively worse at them as he's gotten older and more decrepit. He's been running this place (into the ground) since 2013. He's old. Keeps writing about Nintendo despite mountains of evidence proving he should never write anything. Very old. Lifelong Nintendo fan, doesn't care what you think about that. Did I mention how old he is? Because he's very old.
