Ubisoft CEO: Nintendo Has “Learned From The Wii U” With NX

When asked if he saw the NX as a step back towards the Wii’s more inclusive approach, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told IGN:

“It’s difficult to answer that [before NX is revealed]. What we see is that Nintendo has learned from the Wii U. All publishers learn from what they do, and then come with something new and more attractive, which I think is the case here.”

He also said this at a presentation:

”The new Nintendo is a fantastic machine. It’s really a new approach, it’s really Nintendo, coming with something new again. We love it.”

It might not really mean anything, but praise coming from a major third party is still nice.
Just don’t pull another Rayman delay Ubisoft, that was total BS.

What do you think?
(If it’s “Nintendo hasn’t learned shit and needs to die/go third party” don’t bother commenting.)

He's been playing video games his entire life, and has gotten progressively worse at them as he's gotten older and more decrepit. He's been running this place (into the ground) since 2013. He's old. Keeps writing about Nintendo despite mountains of evidence proving he should never write anything. Very old. Lifelong Nintendo fan, doesn't care what you think about that. Did I mention how old he is? Because he's very old.

I think they’re winding up for another backstab. They said that the Wii U looked attractive while they were bringing a fully-featured Assassin’s Creed 3 to it. Then bringing a buggy, very obviously inefficiently coded AC4 which they refused to fix, then declaring that the Wii U won’t get anything other than Just Dance, effectively playing the “Squaresoft-gambit” of pretending to be really interested in Nintendo hardware before completely eschewing it, to incite audiences to follow them to other systems.

They could very well be planning to do the very same with the NX.
