He's been playing video games his entire life, and has gotten progressively worse at them as he's gotten older and more decrepit. He's been running this place (into the ground) since 2013. He's old. Keeps writing about Nintendo despite mountains of evidence proving he should never write anything. Very old. Lifelong Nintendo fan, doesn't care what you think about that. Did I mention how old he is? Because he's very old.

I was actually kind of disappointed in Steamworld Heist. I like tactical RPGs; they’re one of my favourite genres of game. Steamworld Heist, however, didn’t hold my interest for long.

It feels like one of those games that sold entirely on the fact that it was announced for Wii U, brought to everything else, and finally released for Wii U last. So based on the impression the game gives me, it seems like other system owners bought SWH entirely on the idea that they were voting against the Wii U, rather than vouching for the game itself.

Steamworld Dig was a compelling title, however, and I hope Image & Form have something equally- or more-compelling that they can bring exclusively to Switch, being that they’re one of the privileged few to be awarded a Switch-kit so early.
