Sumo Digital’s Snake Pass Coming to Nintendo Switch

Sumo Digital’s game, Snake Pass, has been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch. If you don’t know, Sumo Digital are the developer behind Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. COO Paul Porter told Eurogamer that they had the game up and running within a week:

”Considering the short amount of time we have been working on the platform and the fact that the Switch isn’t launched yet, things have gone surprisingly well,” Sumo Digital COO Paul Porter told Eurogamer. “We had the game up and running within a week. Nintendo and Epic have given us tremendous support when needed. The use of Unreal gave us a great head start when we first got the hardware.”

The game will support TV, tabletop, and handheld modes on the Switch. Running at 720p30 in portable mode and 1080p30 in docked mode. The Switch version is scheduled to launch alongside the other versions of the game, early this year.

You can watch a trailer for the game (from the PS4 version, before this announcement was made) below:

He’s been playing video games his entire life, and has gotten progressively worse at them as he’s gotten older and more decrepit. He’s been running this place (into the ground) since 2013. He’s old. Keeps writing about Nintendo despite mountains of evidence proving he should never write anything. Very old. Lifelong Nintendo fan, doesn’t care what you think about that. Did I mention how old he is? Because he’s very old.
