For comparison, Wii U didn’t sell anywhere near that its first year.
And barely sold more in it’s in entire lifespan.
And it’s not even a full year yet for the Switch.
This is what good hardware support for engines/apis, good marketing, and games will do for your system. Wii U unfortunately had way too much going against it from the start, including the media. But whatever, because 10 million units in 9 months is really good. This should *hopefully* be enough for some of the more stubborn third parties to start to fully back the system. They certainly backed other systems with high level of support before they had sold anywhere near 10 million.
