Nintendo Had Highest Market Share For First Half Of Fiscal Year In Japan

Despite all the doom and gloom nonsense put out by the media, Nintendo is just fine.
Dengeki put out a list of the top 20 publishers in Japan for the first half of the fiscal year, and Nintendo is at the top.

  1. Nintendo – 32.1%
  2. Level 5 – 11.9%
  3. Square Enix – 11%
  4. Bandai Namco – 10.7%
  5. Konami – 5.3%
  6. Capcom – 4.9%
  7. Sony Computer Entertainment – 3.1%
  8. GunHo – 2.3%
  9. Spike Chunsoft – 1.8%
  10. Marvelous – 1.5%

But as we all know, facts and reality have never stopped people from claiming Nintendo is nearly dead in the gaming industry.

Site Reopening

So after a few months of doing nothing, I finally decided to actually work on this site and get it back up. It wasn’t what I wanted when I started it, too much complaining about things and not enough games. I’ll try to avoid that from now on, though this will never be a site you should rely on for up to the minute news or anything.
The site now has a new forum using Xenforo (Yes I paid for it), and a page to submit your Super Mario Maker levels. And hopefully much more content in the future.
