MEGATON ANNOUNCEMENT: Nintendo acquires Super Mario Bros developer

Nintendo has acquired SRD Co. Ltd, a developer founded in 1979 that they’ve worked with for nearly 40 years.

They are “a development company which has been closely involved for nearly four decades in Nintendo video game software.”

They helped develop Super Mario Bros, as well as dozens of other games including Breath of the Wild and Animal Crossing NH.
